A cuff bent from sheet springs open in a year. This one is forged down from a square bar, which work-hardens the metal as it spreads, and it will still be the shape it was when you bought it long after I have stopped working.
The hammer marks are the whole surface. There is no polishing stage beyond knocking the sharpness off the edges, because a mirror finish on a piece this heavy looks like a bathroom fitting.
It is 22mm at the widest and tapers toward the opening, so it sits on the wrist rather than sliding down onto the hand.
