A client brought in her grandmother's engagement ring, a snapped wedding band and a signet that had been resized so often the shank had gone to paper. Two of the three could be reused; the third was 9 carat and would have pulled the color.
What came out is a single wide band with one small amethyst, worn every day since. The 9 carat went back to her as a small ingot, which she keeps in the same drawer the rings came out of.
This is the only piece on this page you cannot buy. It is here because it is the best argument I have for the remaking service.
