These started as a commission from a box of inherited cutlery, which is a more common request than you would think and a better use for it than a drawer.
The surface is oxidized black and then rubbed back on the high points, so they read as dark from across a room and as silver up close. The finish softens with wear and is easy to renew with a cloth.
Seven centimeters long and almost weightless, because the sheet is thin and the shape is hollow. The most-worn thing I make, by a distance.
